On the 29th of July, the government accepted the STRB recommendations of a 5.5% pay increase for Teaching staff effective from the 1st of September 2024. The UK Government has announced a grant to offset this increase in cost (CSBG: Core schools budget grant).

 

While the DfE has provided a tool to work out the grant, this is on an individual school basis and is focused only on the September 2024 to March 2025 amount.
